Divine Mercy
WEEKEND OF EQUIPPING

The Weekend of Equipping is hosted by the Divine Mercy Healing Team and Bart Schuchts.  It is open exclusively to those who have previously participated either in a Divine Mercy retreat with us or a retreat with the JPII Healing Center.

It is a weekend of abiding in the Lord, of learning prayer ministry, and bonding as a community of apostles.  Thursday night opens with the Celebration of the Eucharist and adoration, where participants have an opportunity to receive prayer.

Bart Schuchts begins Friday speaking about what it means to abide in the Father’s love and live in the fullness of our confirmation.  He then leads us through several prayer experiences to learn the essential skills to become a prayer facilitator.  We will have the chance to practice all these skills breaking into groups of three after each presentation.

On Saturday Fr Brian Shininger and Fr Thomas Vendetti will lead us in learning to facilitate the inner healing prayer, and we will dedicate the remainder of the weekend to practicing the inner healing prayer in triads and checking in as a group.
